CASE STUDY
Real world IT disaster recovery.
One of our most challenging projects was rebuilding in the aftermath of Hurricane Irma. With 185 mph sustained winds and nearly 16 inches of rain, Irma left the island in tatters. IT Infrastructure for mobile, internet and landline services were nearly wiped out with downed towers. Free flowing water in server rooms and a general disarray provided a huge challenge waiting to be conquered by first and third party engineers.
COMMUNICATIONS
Restoring the island’s basic communication was a key objective. With the assistance of local teams, internet and mobile were restored within hours of the all-clear for travel.
SYSTEM RESTORATION
